Falling--into Love I stood upon the edge,
the brink
And wondered bleakly,
Would I sink?
Or would I soar above it all?
If I should ever dare to fall.

And all the while
you stood by my side
As we both watched
the coming tide.
We each made our own private oath--
to let the tide engulf us both.

With a smile we agreed
and leapt into the foaming seas
Of love and passion,
war and peace.
And now we soar, yet sometimes sink
in Love\'s uncertain, stormy sea.
